Anti-Zona pellucida glycoprotein 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ZP2 in humans. The gene may also be known as OOMD6, ZPA, Zp-2, zona pellucida sperm-binding protein 2, and zona pellucida glycoprotein 2 (sperm receptor). Structurally, the protein is reported to be 82.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
