Anti-RAMP4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RAMP4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SERP1 gene, which encodes stress associated endoplasmic reticulum protein 1. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of RAMP4 has a canonical amino acid length of 66 residues and a protein mass of 7.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER and membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the duodenum and pancreas. RAMP4 is a member of the RAMP4 protein family.
