Anti-VDP antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The VDP antigen is another term for the human protein USO1 vesicle transport factor, encoded by the USO1 gene. The protein is known to function in Golgi transport and intracellular protein transport, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 962 residues and a mass of 107.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, Golgi, and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The VDP protein is a member of the VDP/USO1/EDE1 protein family. Other alias names for VDP include P115 and TAP. Western Blot is the most common application for the VDP antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
