Anti-MRIP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MRIP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MPRIP gene, which encodes myosin phosphatase Rho interacting protein. The human version of MRIP has a canonical amino acid length of 1025 residues and a protein mass of 116.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as RHOIP3.
