Anti-Frizzled 1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Frizzled 1 antigen is another term for the human protein frizzled class receptor 1, encoded by the FZD1 gene. The protein is a known receptor for Wnt proteins. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 647 residues and a mass of 71.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be expressed in adult heart, placenta, lung, kidney, pancreas, prostate, and ovary and in fetal lung and kidney. The Frizzled 1 protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor Fz/Smo protein family. Other alias names for Frizzled 1 include Wnt receptor. Western Blot is a widely used application for the Frizzled 1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
