Anti-Testin antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Testin antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TES gene, which encodes testin LIM domain protein. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of Testin has a canonical amino acid length of 421 residues and a protein mass of 48 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include TESS and TESS-2. Indicated applications for Testin antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
