Listed below are antibodies that target carnitine acetyltransferase, a protein known to be expressed in mice. Its ortholog in humans is carnitine O-acetyltransferase, encoded by the CRAT gene. CRAT is a member of the Carnitine/choline acetyltransferase protein family and is known to catalyze the reversible transfer of acyl groups from carnitine to coenzyme A (CoA) and regulates the acyl-CoA/CoA ratio. Western Blot is the most common application for the carnitine acetyltransferase antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
