Anti-NCU-G1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NCU-G1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GLMP gene, which encodes glycosylated lysosomal membrane protein. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription and protein stabilization, among other biological roles. The human version of NCU-G1 has a canonical amino acid length of 406 residues and a protein mass of 43.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes of cells. NCU-G1 is a member of the GLMP protein family.
