Anti-FBXW4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein F-box and WD repeat domain containing 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 412 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.3 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in the brain, kidney, lung and liver. FBXW4 is suspected to be recognizes and binds to some phosphorylated proteins and promotes their ubiquitination and degradation. The FBXW4 gene has been associated with the disease, Split-hand/foot malformation. Synonyms for this target antigen include FBW4, FBWD4, SHFM3, SHSF3, F-box/WD repeat-containing protein 4, and DAC. FBXW4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the FBXW4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
