Anti-SNAT1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SNAT1 is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 38 member 1, encoded by the SLC38A1 gene in humans. This 487-amino acid residue protein is a reported symporter that cotransports short-chain neutral amino acids and sodium ions from the extraccellular to the intracellular side of the cell membrane. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the cerebral cortex by pyramidal and GABAergic neurons, astrocytes and other non-neuronal cells. Indicated applications for SNAT1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
