Anti-POU class 2 homeobox associating factor 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene POU2AF1 in humans. The gene may also be known as BOB. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 27.4 kilodaltons in mass. The POU2AF1 marker can be used to identify Choroid Plexus Non-Neuronal Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
