Anti-endophilin-a2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the endophilin-a2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SH3GL1 gene, which encodes SH3 domain containing GRB2 like 1, endophilin A2. This protein is known to function in nervous system development and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of endophilin-a2 has a canonical amino acid length of 368 residues and a protein mass of 41.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CNSA1, EEN, and SH3D2B. Indicated applications for endophilin-a2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
