Anti-XP32 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target XP32 is a known alias name of the protein KPRP N-terminal and LCE C-terminal like protein, encoded by the KPLCE gene in humans. This 250-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in epidermis development, among other biological processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed at high levels in normal and psoriatic skin, but not in normal keratinocytes, A-431 cells, or any of the other cell lines or tissues tested.
