Anti-SEMCAP3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SEMCAP3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PDZRN3 gene, which encodes PDZ domain containing ring finger 3. This protein is known to function in protein ubiquitination, among other biological roles. The human version of SEMCAP3 has a canonical amino acid length of 1066 residues and a protein mass of 119.6 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
