Anti-OxA1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The OxA1 antigen is another term for the human protein OXA1L mitochondrial inner membrane protein, encoded by the OXA1L gene. The protein is known to be required for the insertion of integral membrane proteins into the mitochondrial inner membrane. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 435 residues and a mass of 48.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The OxA1 protein is a member of the OXA1/ALB3/YidC protein family. Other alias names for OxA1 include OXA1L1 and mitochondrial inner membrane protein OXA1L. Indicated applications for OxA1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
