Anti-PPP1R3E antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 3E. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 279 amino acid residues and a mass of 30.6 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in skeletal muscle and heart with barely detectable levels in the liver. PPP1R3E is known to act as a glycogen-targeting subunit for PP1. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein phosphatase 1, regulatory (inhibitor) subunit 3E. PPP1R3E gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. These PPP1R3E antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
