Anti-XXYLT1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein xyloside xylosyltransferase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 393 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 8 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include UDP-xylose:alpha-xyloside alpha-1,3-xylosyltransferase. XXYLT1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some XXYLT1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
