Anti-TMEM213 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 213. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 107 amino acid residues and a mass of 11.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the kidney. The TMEM213 marker can be used to identify Type A Collecting Duct Intercalated Cells.* TMEM213 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is a widely used application for the TMEM213 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
