Anti-SCOP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SCOP is a known alias name of the protein PH domain and leucine rich repeat protein phosphatase 1, encoded by the PHLPP1 gene in humans. This 1717-amino acid residue protein is known to be a protein phosphatase involved in regulation of Akt and PKC signaling. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for SCOP include PHLPP, PHLPP, and PLEKHE1. Indicated applications for SCOP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
