Anti-Rgc32 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Rgc32 is a known alias name of the protein regulator of cell cycle, encoded by the RGCC gene in humans. This 137-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cell cycle and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the brain, heart and liver.
