Anti-Aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ARNT in humans. The gene may also be known as Hif1b, HIF1 beta, HIF-1-beta, HIF-1beta, HIF1-beta, and class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 86.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, E. coli, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
