Anti-Ly108 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Ly108 is a known alias name of the protein SLAM family member 6, encoded by the SLAMF6 gene in humans. This 332-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a self-ligand receptor of the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is noted to be expressed by all (resting and activated) natural killer cells (NK), T- and B-lymphocytes.
