Anti-Irgm1 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene IRGM, or 'immunity related GTPase M' in humans. The 181-amino acid protein is a member of the TRAFAC class dynamin-like GTPase superfamily, IRG family. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated.
