Anti-Beta-adducin antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene ADD2, or 'adducin 2' in humans. The 726-amino acid protein is a member of the Aldolase class II family, Adducin subfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and membrane-associated.
