Anti-ANG4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ANG4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ANGPT4 gene, which encodes angiopoietin 4. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other biological roles. The human version of ANG4 has a canonical amino acid length of 503 residues and a protein mass of 56.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein. This target antigen may also be known as ANG3. Western Blot is the most common application for the ANG4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
