Anti-IKK a antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IKK a antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHUK gene, which encodes component of inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa B kinase complex. This protein is known to function in the morphogenesis of anatomical structure and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of IKK a has a canonical amino acid length of 745 residues and a protein mass of 84.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include BPS2, IKBKA, and IKK-alpha. Western Blot is the most common application for the IKK a antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
