Anti-CCDC13 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 13. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 715 amino acid residues and a mass of 80.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. CCDC13 is known to be required for primary cilia formation and promotes the localization of the ciliopathy protein BBS4 to both centriolar satellites and cilia. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain-containing protein 13. CCDC13 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CCDC13 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
