Anti-cAbl antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target cAbl is a known alias name of the protein ABL proto-oncogene 1, non-receptor tyrosine kinase, encoded by the ABL1 gene in humans. This 1130-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and T cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for cAbl include ABL, BCR-ABL, and CHDSKM. Western Blot is the most common application for the cAbl antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
