Anti-PGs4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PGs4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LRRC49 gene, which encodes leucine rich repeat containing 49. This protein is a known subunit of the tubulin polyglutamylase complex (TPGC). The human version of PGs4 has a canonical amino acid length of 686 residues and a protein mass of 78.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. This target antigen may also be known as CSTPP2.
