Anti-SAMD3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sterile alpha motif domain containing 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 520 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.2 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. The SAMD3 marker can be used to identify Dorsal Excitatory Neurons and Immature NKT Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include sterile alpha motif domain-containing protein 3 and SAM domain-containing protein 3. SAMD3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species.
