Anti-TNM2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TNM2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TENM2 gene, which encodes teneurin transmembrane protein 2. This protein is known to function in axon guidance and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of TNM2 has a canonical amino acid length of 2774 residues and a protein mass of 307.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER, Golgi, and cell membrane of cells. TNM2 is a member of the Tenascin protein family.
