Anti-FGF-2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FGF-2 is a known alias name of the protein fibroblast growth factor 13, encoded by the FGF13 gene in humans. This 245-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a microtubule-binding protein, which directly binds tubulin and is involved in both polymerization and stabilization of microtubules (By similarity). In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for FGF-2 include DEE90 and FHF-2. Indicated applications for FGF-2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
