Anti-O/E-4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the O/E-4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the EBF4 gene, which encodes EBF family member 4. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of O/E-4 has a canonical amino acid length of 602 residues and a protein mass of 64.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. O/E-4 is a member of the COE protein family.
