Anti-HGNT-IV-H antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HGNT-IV-H antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MGAT4C gene, which encodes MGAT4 family member C. This protein is a reported glycosyltransferase that participates in the transfer of N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) to the core mannose residues of N-linked glycans. The human version of HGNT-IV-H has a canonical amino acid length of 478 residues and a protein mass of 56.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and notably expressed in the skin, skeletal muscle, heart muscle, epididymis, and bone marrow. Other names for this target antigen include GNTIVH and HGNT-IV-H.
