Anti-Keratin 77 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the KRT77 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 578 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.9 kDa. It is found to be preferentially expressed in skin. The keratin 77 protein is a member of the Intermediate filament protein family. Other names for this target antigen include CK-1B, K77, cytokeratin-1B, keratin 1B, keratin 77, type II, and keratin, type II cytoskeletal 1b.
