Anti-HSPCa antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HSPCa is a known alias name of the protein heat shock protein 90 alpha family class A member 1, encoded by the HSP90AA1 gene in humans. This 732-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a molecular chaperone that promotes the maturation, structural maintenance and proper regulation of specific target proteins involved for instance in cell cycle control and signal transduction. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the gallbladder, fallopian tube, epididymis, duodenum, and bronchus.
