Anti-Peflin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Peflin is a known alias name of the protein penta-EF-hand domain containing 1, encoded by the PEF1 gene in humans. This 284-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a calcium-binding protein that acts as an adapter that bridges unrelated proteins or stabilizes weak protein-protein complexes in response to calcium. It is localized to the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. Indicated applications for Peflin antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
