Anti-PPP1R36 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 36. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 422 amino acid residues and a mass of 49.4 kDa. It is notably expressed in the testis, small intestine, colon, and bronchus. PPP1R36 is reported to inhibit phosphatase activity of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) complexes. PPP1R36 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. These PPP1R36 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
