Anti-PP15 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PP15 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NUTF2 gene, which encodes nuclear transport factor 2. This protein is known to mediate the import of GDP-bound RAN from the cytoplasm into the nucleus which is essential for the function of RAN in cargo receptor-mediated nucleocytoplasmic transport. The human version of PP15 has a canonical amino acid length of 127 residues and a protein mass of 14.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include NTF-2 and NTF2. Indicated applications for PP15 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
