Anti-SRECRP-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SRECRP-1 is a known alias name of the protein scavenger receptor class F member 2, encoded by the SCARF2 gene in humans. This 871-amino acid residue protein is a suspected adhesion protein, which mediates homophilic and heterophilic interactions. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the endothelial cells.
