Anti-Hexokinase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene HK1 in humans. The Hexokinase 1 protein has an expected mass of 102.5 kDa, but there are 4 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as HXK1, dea, Hexokinase, HKI, brain form hexokinase, and HK1-ta. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including yeast, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
