Anti-IZUMO2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein IZUMO family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 221 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Izumo protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include izumo sperm-egg fusion protein 2. IZUMO2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the IZUMO2 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
