Anti-TMEM225 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 225. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 225 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles. TMEM225 is suspected to be inhibits protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) in sperm via binding to catalytic subunit PPP1CC. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 154, spermatogenesis associated 47, and PMP22 claudin domain-containing protein. TMEM225 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Indicated applications for TMEM225 antibodies listed below include Western Blot.
