Anti-Ric antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Ric antigen is another term for the human protein FXYD domain containing ion transport regulator 5, encoded by the FXYD5 gene. The protein is known to be involved in down-regulation of E-cadherin which results in reduced cell adhesion. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 178 residues and a mass of 19.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. The Ric protein is a member of the FXYD protein family. Other alias names for Ric include DYSAD, HSPC113, and IWU1. Indicated applications for Ric antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
