Anti-P38 antibodies are directed against P38 MAPK (mitogen-activated protein kinase 14) encoded by the gene MAPK14 in humans. The full protein is reported to be 360 amino acid residues in length. Based on antigen name, there may be a plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse, and rat variants of this protein.
