Anti-OR51V1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily V member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 321 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR51V1 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include odorant receptor HOR3'beta1, olfactory receptor 51A12, olfactory receptor OR11-36, and olfactory receptor 51V1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR51V1 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
