Anti-IKK epsilon antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene IKBKE, or 'inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa B kinase subunit epsilon' in humans. The 716-amino acid protein is a member of the Protein kinase superfamily, Ser/Thr protein kinase family, I-kappa-B kinase subfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
