Anti-IBP4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IBP4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IGFBP4 gene, which encodes insulin like growth factor binding protein 4. This protein is known to function in inflammatory response pathways and MAPK cascade signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of IBP4 has a canonical amino acid length of 258 residues and a protein mass of 27.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein. Other names for this target antigen include BP-4 and HT29-IGFBP. Western Blot is the most common application for the IBP4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
