Anti-HNRNPA1L2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 320 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. HNRNPA1L2 is reported to be involved in packaging of pre-mRNA into hnRNP particles, transport of poly(A) mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm and may modulate splice site selection. Synonyms for this target antigen include hnRNP A1-like 2 and hnRNP core protein A1-like 2. HNRNPA1L2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Some HNRNPA1L2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
