Anti-CNAP1 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene NCAPD2, or 'non-SMC condensin I complex subunit D2' in humans. The 1401-amino acid protein is a member of the CND1 (condensin subunit 1) family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
